Download
Windows, 64-bit. Steam and DayZ have to be installed and signed in.
The installer is not out yet. It ships once the build is code-signed — an unsigned launcher
makes Windows show an "unknown publisher" warning on every install, and a DayZ launcher asking
people to click past that is teaching exactly the wrong habit.
What it does
- Browses DayZ servers, with live players, ping, map and mod list.
- Works out which of the server's mods you are missing or need to update.
- Downloads them through your own Steam client, from the Steam Workshop.
- Links them into a private staging folder and launches DayZ connected to the server.
What it does not do
- It never asks for your Steam password, and never uses SteamCMD with your account.
- It never hosts or redistributes mod files — every file comes from the Workshop, from Steam.
- It never injects into the game or patches game files. DayZ starts through Steam, so BattlEye and Steam authentication are untouched.
- It never deletes anything through a junction, and it leaves real folders in the DayZ directory alone.
